Airwolf Season 3 is cleared for take off from 13th August, courtesy of Universal Playback.
Pilot Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent), co-pilot Domini Santini (Ernest Borgnine) and Caitlin O'Shaughnessy (Jean Bruce Scott) team up with cyclops super-spy Archangel (Alex Cord) to do battle with a wide assortment of villains, who may have different motivations but share one thing in common: helicopters armed with missiles that can't shoot straight.
This season starts off with a bang when Hawke is kidnapped and brainwashed by John Bradfrod Horn, an evil tycoon.
Season 3 sees some quality story telling and the faultless co-starring cast that makes this stand-out as one of the eighties leading TV shows.
