GOO GOO DOLLS
Release lead track from Spielberg’s
$150,000,000 summer blockbuster “Transformers”;
‘Before It’s Too Late’ (Sam and Mikaela's Theme) 13th August 2007 (Warners)
Goo Goo Dolls return with their brilliant new single ‘Before It’s Too Late’ on 13th August 2007 through Warners. Showcasing Goo Goo Dolls at their best, ‘Before It’s Too Late’ is an epic melodic rock ballad, which features in the forthcoming 150,000,000 million dollar summer blockbuster from Steven Spielberg, - “Transformers” - , which is due for release by Dreamworks on 27th July 2007.
Based on the long-lived toy franchise, “Before It’s Too Late” is the love theme for primary human characters Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, and delivers a signature ballad with a majestic airborne chorus, and a lyric of empowerment (“Live like you mean it, love ‘til you feel it”)
The band are heading back to the UK again this summer. Not content with two
sold out tours of the UK (which included 2 x Brixton Academy and 3 x Shepherds Bush Empire shows) in the last 12 months, the band will be playing at T in the Park, The Oxygen Festival, and the V Festival, as well as some of their own headline shows and tickets are flying out of the door!
Goo Goo Dolls recently celebrated their 20th anniversary and over 7 million sales, with the release of their eighth album, "Let Love In” – which has attained Gold status. The band have also just had their 12th Top 10 single in a row in the US. Since forming in New York in 1986, the Goo Goo Dolls have evolved from a punk influenced trio into the platinum selling, chart topping act behind such massive hits as “Name”, “Iris”, “Slide” and “Here Is Gone”.
