FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND RELEASE 'WALK AWAY' SINGLE ON JULY 16 !!!
*********************************************************************************************
Funeral For A Friend will release their next single 'Walk Away' on July 16 2007. It will be available on Atlantic Records and was produced by Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, The Pixies, Maximo Park etc).
It is the second single to come from their smash hit new record 'Tales Don't Tell Themselves, which rocketed into the UK album charts at #3 ! (to compliment the EIGHT Top 20 Singles and Two Gold Selling albums in their ever bulging back catalogue).
Indeed 2007 has already proved to be a jaw dropping year for the Welsh quintet. When they debuted the 'Tales Don't Tell Themselves' album on an exclusive MySpace player, the record received a staggering 646,443 plays in just one week!
And then the guys previewed the video for the 'Into Oblivion' single on MySpace and it was watched a staggering 14,000 times in just 24 hours (making it the 10th most watched clip on the entire of MySpace)!!
'Tales Don't Tell Themselves' is simply the boldest statement the band have yet made, and is both a culmination of everything they've released to date and a breathtaking reinvention of their band. "We've never written anything like this before," says drummer Ryan Richards. "It's just the best music we've ever made. That's really all I can say."
