The epic adventure of Babylon 5 enters a new age of humankind…. as Warner Home Video announces the 24th October DVD debut of BABYLON 5: LEGEND OF THE RANGERS, the feature length movie spin-off of the ratings winning, action-packed sci-fi TV series.
The sixth and last of the movies from the Babylon 5 universe, Legend of the Rangers allows fans to complete their collections by sky-rocketing their way into the future for £17.99 RRP.
The Babylon 5 TV show ran for five seasons becoming a phenomenon and successor to Star Trek receiving sensational reviews and acclaim.
The show also spawned five other thrilling feature films: In The Beginning, The Gathering, Thirdspace, River of Souls and A Call to Arms as well as spin-off series Crusade. The Sci-Fi Channel revisited the franchise with their own production and most ambitious television project at that time with the feature film BABYLON 5: Legend of the Rangers, giving fans one last chance to escape to space.

The year is 2264 and Ranger David Martel is given command of the Liandra, a haunted 20 year old Minbar, fighting ship. The wars are over, and an unprecedented era of exploration is at hand. The Interstellar Alliance has been organized to establish and maintain peace among its member worlds, including Earth.
The Rangers are an elite military force made up of hand-picked young, smart, dedicated human and alien members who combine the high-tech elements of space travel with the idealism and honor of the knights of old. They encounter a previously unknown alien race whose lethal power is far greater than any force previously known to Earth or any other world in the Interstellar Alliance.
Returning from the original series is G'Kar (Andreas Katsulas) bridging the gap between the old and new universes. Legend of the Rangers is full of the lore, myth and detailed characters of its predecessors; capturing the energy and special effects synonymous with a J. Michael Straczynski production.
