CELEBRATES A CENTURY OF CINEMA WITH
100 YEARS OF GREAT FILMS!
(London) The start of the 20th Century marked the emergence of a new art form which, for a hundred years, has touched the lives of billions of people worldwide. To celebrate this historic Hollywood milestone, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will roll out A Century of Cinema: 100 Years of Great Films! with hundreds of memorable movies on DVD from the extensive Fox, MGM and Pathé libraries.
Launching on March 26th, 2007, A Century of Cinema: 100 Years of Great Films! will recognise some of the biggest and best films in the history of filmmaking. Fox, MGM and Pathés combined film libraries (over 4,000 titles) represent a selection of the most significant, popular and award-winning films spanning every genre, and featuring a dazzling constellation of international stars. With four waves throughout the year the celebration will shine a spotlight on a group of genre titles highlighting the biggest movies of the century.
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment UK is launching the Century of Cinema brand in truly British style, with the first wave of releases entitled “A Celebration of British Film”. A selection of the best British films from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, MGM and Pathé Distribution Ltd, including Mrs Henderson Presents, Titanic and Braveheart.
