BLOCKBUSTERS LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN THEM BEFORE – ON UMD!
What do you get the guy who has everything including the brand new Sony PSP? A range of blockbusters to watch on it! Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is releasing a second wave of fantastic films including The Day After Tomorrow, Predator and Daredevil on UMD on 7th November 2005.

The Day After Tomorrow
From the director of Independence Day, Roland Emmerich, comes the thrill ride of a lifetime! Climatologist Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid, Flight of the Phoenix) has been conducting research that indicates that global warming could trigger an abrupt and catastrophic shift in the planet’s climate. He cautions officials that it could happen if they don’t act soon, but his warnings are ignored. The dawn of the next ice age has already begun, and the citizens of the United States, including Jack’s son Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal, Donnie Darko) are in danger of becoming its first victims…

Predator
Track down your local supplier and hand over your rations in exchange for Predator on UMD. A new being has descended on Earth to partake in its favourite sport - hunting and decapitating his targets. Unfortunately, human beings are the new species he has discovered. Armed with powerful weapons, and under a stealth cloud, the Predator stalks its prey, deadly, cunning and unseen. Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator trilogy) stars as the testosterone-fuelled Major ‘Dutch’ Schaefer in this action adventure story of a tough marine’s battle against a lethal enemy.

Daredevil
Prepare yourself for Daredevil, the man without fear, a vigilante of the night who fights for justice in the shadows of New York City. Academy Award® winner Ben Affleck (Armageddon) stars as blind Hell’s Kitchen lawyer Matt Murdock. After losing his sight in a freak accident during childhood, his remaining senses function with superhuman sharpness. With the memory of seeing his prizefighter father killed at young age, Murdock has decided to fight against crime day and night, inside and outside the law.
The chilling horror The Descent is also being released on UMD on 7th November, and ultra-slick action comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith follows suit on 25th November. The perfect gift for anyone with a PSP, add your favourite UMD to your Christmas list now!
