“The eclectic ensemble brings to mind Crash,
but 11:14 is more
like vintage Tarantino” – EMPIRE
“Cleverly structured black comedy…a
sly and twisting tale well worth catching.” – SUNDAY MIRROR
“A Donnie Darko for 2006 ***** ” – BURN
11:14 follows the chain of events surrounding
five different characters who collide in a series of deadly ironic twists…
It’s a quiet night in Middleton, and everything seems
peaceful in this sleepy suburban town. As the night approaches the fateful time
of 11:14pm, a series of events begin to unfold which will ultimately have
deadly consequences:
On the highway,
drunk driver Jack (Henry Thomas - E.T: The Extra Terrestrial, Legends of The
Fall) hits a young man with his car.
A shootout at the
local convenience store leaves the female clerk (Academy Award® winner Hilary Swank, Million Dollar Baby, The Black Dahlia) wounded. But she’s later arrested for being involved
in the crime…
At the local
cemetery, protective father Frank (Patrick
Swayze - Dirty Dancing, Donnie Darko)
covers up a crime he did not commit…
Nearby, three bored
teenage boys played by Colin Hanks (King Kong), Ben Foster (X-Men: The Last Stand) and Stark
Sands (Shall We Dance),
drive around in a van, making mischief and throwing things at passing cars.
They will learn before the end of the night that aimless pranks can often have
painful and deadly consequences.
Meanwhile, master
manipulator Cheri (Rachael Leigh-Cook
- She’s All That) tries to frame her
boyfriend for murder.
11:14 marks the feature
film debut from director Greg Marcks.
Barbara Hershey (Beaches) and
Shawn Hatosy (The Cooler)
round off the impressive cast. 11:14
is a compelling, darkly comic suspense thriller, which unwinds in reverse
chronology, connecting these seemingly, unrelated events that will keep you
guessing until the credits roll.
