LIFE’S A BEACH WITH BAYWATCH THE COMPLETE SEASON ONE (15)

In the 90’s, Saturday afternoons across the nation meant only one thing. Now you have the opportunity to relive those carefree times any day of the week, with all twenty-two episodes of bikini-clad and sexy six-pack entertainment that is BAYWATCH - THE COMPLETE SEASON ONE on DVD. Putting the summer into this autumn and winter on 30th October 2006, this is the first time that the entire first season is available on DVD anywhere in the world.

BAYWATCH was the global TV phenomenon of the Nineties – the most viewed TV series in the world with an estimated weekly audience of more than 1.1 billion people in 142 countries (Guinness Book of Records). Starring and produced by David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff, the show launched the careers of numerous hotties that would go on to cause heatwaves: including Erika Eleniak, Billy Warlock, Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, Carmen Electra and Tracey Bingham.

David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider, Sponge Bob, Squarepants the Movie) is Mitch Buchannon, a single-parent lifeguard who is the mentor for a crowd of hip, young, attractive lifeguards as they come and go, keeping the beach safe for the masses. The series caught the imagination of teenage and family audiences alike as viewers were not just drawn to the show by the lifeguards battling the elements and beach crime. They were captivated by the fizzling chemistry between the lifeguards, which often sent temperatures soaring and which always kept everyone guessing as some of the characters would sink deeper in love.

A landmark American TV show that was a ratings smash for over a decade and one that remains a topic of conversation today, BAYWATCH THE COMPLETE SEASON ONE, is the show that people took to like lifeguards to water. It will appeal to all fans of the original show and anyone who loves escapist action drama and eye-candy galore. BAYWATCH – you’ll drown in sorrow without it.
