FBI agent Gracie Hart as a hopeful but most unlikely Miss Jersey, she is pushed back to her desk by her boss due to screwing up on a previous undercover operation in which one of her colleagues gets shot as a result of her actions. So Gracie is keen to prove she is worthy of her job in the FBI, plus she is the only plausible candidate who has decent legs and not pregnant gets assigned for the undercover job in a beauty pageant. This is due to a coded bomb threat from a known terrorist called the Citizen.

The transfer & picture and sound in Dolby 5.1 is faultless.

The commentaries of the director and Sandra Bullock are interesting and funny in places, good insight to the making of the film in Austin, Texas. The "Making of" has some funny moments and outtakes from the film.

I really enjoyed this film at the cinema and watching it again on DVD, if you are a Sandra Bullock fan you will too, it is Sandra at her best and playing a role that is most suited to her quirky but likeable manner of acting. That aside the film sets out to do what a comedy is supposed to do and that is to make the viewer laugh. The story is nothing to write a book about but it is entertaining. It is due out on DVD in the UK September 24th; those who can't wait till then like me ordered it months ago on region 1!

If you fancy a comedy and like Sandra Bullock, this is one to watch.
