Plot:
Amanda Pierce lives in New York with 6 million men who seems to always get attracted to the wrong guys. She finds herself sharing a plush Manhattan Apartment with four supermodels. The models are determined to bring Amanda into their world and give her a make over. This works for her as she manages to get a date with the guy next door, Jim Winston, after this she thinks all her guy problems are over. That is, until one night she is spying on Jim across from her apartment window and finds out some strange things about this guy when the man of her dreams appears to be committing a cold-blooded crime. She is determined to investigate and her loopy model roommates decide to help her. Amanda is head over heels for him so does not want to just accept what she thought she might have seen so is determined to get answers.

About the Film:
I found it an enjoyable film on the whole, it is what you would class a “chick flick” in essence of the story line but it has things for both genders, a romantic story line of women meets man and falls in love with him and then for the male gender you have 5 attractive women to look at through a whole film, take your pick.
That said to classify it like that is quite unfair really, there is more to the film than just this. The story line is interesting enough and quite funny at times. My only critical comment is the casting Freddie Prinze Jr, as the lead male role because his acting put the film down and it is hard to take his character seriously I found. There maybe females out there that would totally disagree with me here but I could not see why a woman would fall for this guy, that said I am speaking for a male perspective so it maybe unjustified.
About the Disk: The image quality is clear and well defined in 2.35:1 Anamorphic. The audio is well mixed in Dolby digital 5.1.
To conclude:The film is light entertainment and should thus should be viewed in this context for full enjoyment. I would recommend the film for when couples are having a night in together and want light-hearted humour without having to use many brain cells. It is a fun and the story does have a twist in its tale, you will have to watch and see for yourself.
